My client have recently won £40m to invest in a new software engineering wing and the creation of over 880 new roles – multiple of these roles are still available at senior levels. You would split your time between their state-of-the-art office in central Belfast and working from home as part of their hybrid working model.
About the role as a Senior Software Developer
You would be working in a pure software development role using the latest technologies in a large company with world leading learning and development opportunities. Some of the things you would be responsible for include: · Provide technical leadership within an Agile team; coaching, mentoring and upskilling developers.
· Guide the engineering of high quality software products to support the Business. · Collaborate with the Scrum Manager and Product Owner to get the most out of your development team · Collaborate with the Lead Software Developers to help define and build our technical capabilities. · Innovate, selecting the best tools and emerging technologies. · Be a role model for best engineering practice across the team.
The skills and experience needed
· Experience coding in C# · Experience as a Senior Software Developer or Engineer. · Deep understanding of a variety of technologies and platforms. · Mentoring and / or coaching experience. · Direct experience of Cloud Development
