Summary
Highways Drainage Cleansing Operative – Barnstaple
Our clients require a Highways Drainage Cleansing Operative to work as part of a team visiting selected drainage assets and undertaking a cleanse to the set standard. The role will see a reasonable amount of manual handling therefore the successful candidate will need to be physically fit and healthy.
As the Highways Drainage Cleansing Operative your duties & responsibilities will be:
To work as part of a team
Meet programme targets.
Good timekeeping skills
Willing and able to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours.
Comply with company health, safety and environment
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Good communication skills
Experience / knowledge required in using electronic devices.
Candidate must carry out work to a high standard.
Good timekeeping skills required.
CSCS
Class 2 HGV licence required.
Candidate will require good knowledge of the west Devon area.
Chapter 8 or 12D an advantage but can be supplied.
Knowledge of using a jetting machine preferred but training can be provided.
Reasonable knowledge of machine maintenance.
Pay:
£11.50 – £13.00 per hour
