General assistant :-what does a general assistant do
Grafter currently has a client looking to fill a role with the following description : ‘Someone with enthusiasm and interest in building to assist at basic level in all aspects of an eco house refurb. The work will include basic labouring such as cleaning, organising site and moving materials, but could include all aspects of the work for someone who is interested, intelligent, careful and dexterous. The house will include some novel materials and techniques and will be advertised on facebook as an exemplar project. This job would suit and architecture student or someone who wants to gain all round knowledge of domestic building. It’s my own house: I am an architectural designer and occasional builder. The hours will be part-time TBC and could be set to suit.’.
