At a time of significant growth Hays are partnering with a Fintech Software Consultancy to search for talented, high performing, Senior Java Developers with experience of low latency multi-currency systems with the financial domain. It is an exciting time for my client as along with the organic growth within their existing client base they have had several recent investment announcements focusing on internal training, growth and acquisitions.



BBC News NI Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Java Development
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Prior experience of working in Capital Markets/Investment Banking
  • Expertise in Object Oriented design, Data Structures, Low Latency Design Patterns, Unit & Integration testing
  • Deep understanding of concurrent, multi-threaded application environments


BBC News NI Experience in the following is a plus but not essential:

  • Spring / Spring Boot
  • Hibernate / JPA / SQL
  • Relational Databases (PostgreSQL / Oracle)
  • RESTful API development* Testing (TDD/ Junit / Mockito / REST Assured)
  • Linux/Unix
